School Visits

Gyaltsabje Centre is pleased to host school visits.

The Meditation Room is a large, beautiful and peaceful place which contains Buddhist statues, paintings, shrine offerings and sacred texts. It also contains many of the symbols mentioned in the RE syllabus. This special room has a soothing effect and teachers will be surprised at how quiet and responsive children are during their visit.

A visit to the centre will consist of a visit of the Meditation Room. The children can sit on the cushions and have the opportunity to chant a popular prayer.

Testimonials:
"It was interesting to find out about the Buddhist way of life and thier reasons for becoming a Buddhist." Annie and Guneet

"Great experience and a lot of questions answered, and a lot of things learnt."Carly

We also accept invitations to visit local schools to give talks and guided meditations to classes of children supervised by their teachers.
