School Visits
Gyaltsabje Centre is pleased to host school visits.
The Meditation Room is a large, beautiful and peaceful place which contains Buddhist statues, paintings, shrine offerings and sacred texts. It also contains many of the symbols mentioned in the RE syllabus. This special room has a soothing effect and teachers will be surprised at how quiet and responsive children are during their visit.
A visit to the centre will consist of a tour of the Meditation Room. The children can sit on the cushions and have the opportunity to chant a popular prayer. This is followed by discussion and refreshments in the World Peace Cafe.

We also accept invitations to visit local schools to give talks and guided meditations to classes of children supervised by their teachers.

Children under 11 - £2 per child
Adults - £3 per person
There are no charges for
teachers or parents Cheques
payable to Gyaltsabje Centre.
